The dissolved minerals calcium and magnesium are in the water that comes into our homes here in the Ft Worth, TX area. This is not necessarily a bad thing except when it shows up on the glass around your shower or bathtub.
Unless it is kept up with it will cause a white haze to build up on the inside of the glass surround. Couple this with when the metal frame supporting the glass corrodes over time and looks nasty. When this happens it’s time to install a new glass surround.
